Gresco
Gresco, a parts supplier for utility companies nationwide, turned to SPINEN when the company needed to consolidate its server infrastructure. SPINEN worked alongside Gresco's IT staff to design and implement a solution using VMware and a robust iSCSI shared storage solution.
Leveraging SPINEN's professional experience and our vendor
relationships, Gresco was able to deploy the new technology with zero
business downtime.
The best part? Gresco is not saddled with vendor lock-ins or contracts.
Now that SPINEN has assisted with the heavy lifting, Gresco's IT staff
can maintain the new infrastructure with confidence. While SPINEN can
help businesses achieve self-sufficiency, we always stand ready to
provide professional, expert support.
Two Friends Cafe & Market
Two Friends Cafe & Market needed a Web site which reflected its
unique atmosphere and wide array of culinary offerings. SPINEN
designers worked closely with the client to develop a Web site that
captured the charm and sophistication of the cafe.
To facilitate an ever-changing menu and keep cost-of-ownership low,
SPINEN programmers deployed an administrative module that allows Two
Friends personnel to log on to the Web site and update menu offerings
without incurring additional costs every time changes to the Web site
are needed.
Our solution helped Two Friends Cafe leverage technology to enhance its
marketing efforts and make the most effective use of the new Web site.

Pleading Indexer
A Macon attorney had many documents to submit to court during the
exploration stage of each case. A cover sheet containing a detailed
index of all documents in the submission had to be generated by his
secretary manually, a lengthy process that took 8 hours to complete.
We developed an application that, at the press of a button, would
automatically index a given folder of PDF files and generate the cover
sheet in a matter of seconds.
As a result, the secretary now has an extra workday each month to dedicate herself to more important tasks.
COE Annual Report
New government regulations required the electronic capture and storage
of accreditation data. COE collects and compiles this information from
over 400 schools annually. That task required an efficient,
centralized, easy-to-use electronic solution to address these new
regulations.
We developed a web-based version of their reporting software. The
original report was 30-50 pages for each school with over 50
variations.
Our solution to this problem helped COE become a model for electronic
data collection and saved thousands of hours in manual collection and
compilation.
Highmont Group
A company specializing in marketing and identity creation needed a
small website that would be concise yet precise in its message. Being
light on content, it had to rely on pictures to communicate that having
a passion is an essential part of a successful business.
We created a design that incorporated a playful take on passions that
people find in life...and in finding those passions, they push beyond
ordinary boundaries, bring excitement to their environment, and change
things that matter.
Acadia Montana
Acadia Montana is a residential treatment center for adolescents in
need of assistance with co-occurring behavioral, emotional, and
psychiatric disorders. The client requested a website that would assist
in raising awareness and provide options for parents seeking to help
their children.
SPINEN created a family-friendly design that did not evoke a "white
coat" image and would appeal to both parents and children in order to
help make the whole process more relaxed. Another goal was to work the
facility's surroundings into the design, and the natural beauty of
Montana's mountains worked wonderfully to fulfill this need.

eClinicalWorks
A doctor's office required equipment and infrastructure to support a
paperless, electronic medical-records system. Lacking in-house IT
expertise, they were in need of a dedicated agent to implement a
HIPAA-compliant EMR environment.
After designing an appropriate and secure solution, we worked closely
with third-party vendors during the implementation and training stages.
Physicians at the office were able to leverage an EMR system without
the additional costs associated with having full-time, in-house IT
personnel. The solution saves storage space, allows for efficient
collaboration between doctors, and helps keep patients' data safe. The
system's seamless integration with insurance companies and pharmacies
gave doctors an opportunity to spend more time on what's important -
their patients.
Online Retailer
A large online retail sales company needed a PCI 1.1/DSS-compliant web infrastructure to support millions of visitors per month.
The high performance and scalability of the virtualized setup turned
out to be the best match for the client's business requirements. VMware
3.5i infrastructure with Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), Switch
Cluster, and a SAN provided high availability and failover. Partnering
with Barracuda, we installed and configured the most sophisticated
Level 7 web-application firewall on the market.
In the end, we were able to supply our client with the
creme-de-la-creme of the web-server world and do it all in 45 days,
well before the official deadline for PCI 1.1/DSS compliancy.
